Recruitment Process at HMR ITM

• Training and Placement Cell of HMR sends official invitations to potential recruiters to visit the campus for campus recruitment drive. Once the Company gives its assent and willingness to conduct on Campus Placement Drive, they are formally invited to the campus.

• Students are then informed about the drive and the necessary details like eligibility criteria as prescribed by the company, Job profile, job description etc. are shared with the students. However, if no criteria is prescribed, generally we send a Google form (a simple web based programme) to the students to register themselves for the drive. The Company’s website is also shared with the students to know more about the company, Company’s products, work culture, vision etc. as it will help the students in facing interviews.

• Usually Campus recruitment process starts with a Pre-placement Talk, a Power Point Presentation by the company’s HR, which explains about the company, job profile, CTC offered etc. This provides the students an opportunity to interact with the HR of recruiting company and to put forth any questions bubbling in their minds related to company’s policies or their future with the company.

• After PPT, students decided whether they wish to make their career with the company and participate in the drive accordingly.

• Depending upon the number of students company carry out various screening methods for short listing the capable students like screening test- online or pen and paper based tests, Group Discussions etc. Usually result is declared on the same day, if not, the result is shared later on.

• Shortlisted students then undergo Technical interviews, HR interviews and PI interviews. Based on these, company declares the result of finally selected students and sometimes offer letters are also issued to the selected students.
