Applied Physics Lab
Applied Physics Laboratory enables the budding engineers to practically understand the fundamentals of the theory through a wide range of experiments. As physics is a vast subject engulfing various disciplines in it, Applied Physics Laboratory imparts the necessary theoretical knowledge and technical skill for all to handle electronic devices/kit and the tools with precision there by laying the foundation stone for the future technocrats in the practice of their pursuits.The purpose of this Lab is to:
- Acquaint students with experimental apparatus, familiarize with scientific method, learn to measure data through careful observations for necessary analysis and to draw conclusions from such data.
- Introduce the methods used for dealing with experimental uncertainties, external conditions and errors.
- Learn how to write a technical report which communicates scientific information in a clear and concise manner.
Applied Physics Laboratory is well planned, spacious and adequately equipped having all experimental set ups compliant to GGSIPU curriculum. There is a separate dark room in the Lab to conduct optical experiments.

Applied Chemistry Lab
With an aim to impart extensive knowledge and practical skills to students in fields of Applied Chemistry & Environmental Studies which is a fundamental building block for engineering disciplines. The department has well equipped spacious chemistry laboratory for conducting experiment with pleasant working environment. The labs have ultra new apparatus and sufficient equipments to provide practical training to the students in the field of Applied Chemistry and Environmental Studies. The main purpose of laboratory work is to provide students with conceptual and practical knowledge to help them learn scientific concepts through innovative methods. Our main objective is to provide the best infrastructure and environment to students and faculty members.

- Visit to Asola Bhatti Wild Life Sanctuaries Tughlakabad, New Delhi.
- Visit to Mother Dairy Plant, Patparganj, New Delhi.
- Debate competition / Poster making competition /quiz and Declamation contests.
Applied Mathematics Lab
The Institute provides and supports a state-of-the-art computing facilities for the students. The Applied Mathematics Laboratory ensures that the best methods and tools of modern applied mathematics and statistics are made available for the use. To learn and implement mathematical concepts and various methods the lab is equipped with number of Linux based systems and softwares like MATLAB, Mathematica. Using programming languages like C, C++ students would be able to apply these tools of mathematical software for solving different mathematical problems.
It helps students in providing sound mathematical understanding and developing their logical and intellectual skills. It allows them to concentrate on problem formulation and solution analysis. It also helps to increase their value of knowledge and degree of interest. Through this students are well prepared for higher studies as well as employment. It prepares students with a solid foundation in Engineering, Mathematical Science and technology for a successful career in various fields.
Language Lab
The Language Lab focuses on all the four components of English i.e. listening, speaking, writing and reading along with personality development. It is equipped with facilities like language software and audio-visual equipment to aid in imparting language skills. The Language lab is effectively utilized by students and faculty members for various self- enrichment and life skill development activities to help them prepare for interviews and future corporate environments. With the aim at confidence building among students for various interactive and communicative situations, language lab is particularly beneficial for those students who find difficulty in usage of English language.
It provides a platform to the students enhance their knowledge in English language, communication skills and to practice soft skills. Currently Orell iTELL digital language lab software is installed in the lab with audio recording facilities for recording and self-evaluation which help the students in identifying their problem areas and work upon them.It helps students in providing sound mathematical understanding and developing their logical and intellectual skills.
