The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science is established in the year 2022 with an intake of 60 students.The Department is recognized as one of the leading departments with infrastructure, facilities and faculties to match very best in the education field. Our allied discipline graduates are globally recognized as innovative and well-prepared computing professionals.
The Department focuses to be a Centre of Excellence in the Discipline of Computer Science and to build a strong research and teaching environment that responds swiftly to the challenges of the 21st century.
The course encompasses Data Science as an interdisciplinary, problem-solving approach that learns to apply scientific techniques to practical problems. It is an intensive skill-oriented program with enough practical training for building business models for analytics. With analysis and statistical approach, data science is one of the fastest growing career opportunities in the country. It is designed to give exposure to the variety of applications that can be built using techniques covered under this program.

They shall be able to apply AI/DATA SCIENCE methods, techniques and tools to the applications. The students shall explore the practical components of developing AI apps and platforms through the hands on sessions in lab. A sound proficiency in mathematics will prove to be beneficial as this degree requires strong problem-solving and analytical skills. They shall be able to acquire the ability to creatively design intelligent solutions for a wide range of business problems in a variety of domains and business applications.
