Clubs and societies in college enhance student’s skills, networking, and personal growth. They provide career opportunities, social engagement, academic support, and recreational activities, fostering a well-rounded college experience. You can be a part of various Clubs as given below:
A. SOCIETIES
PROXIMUS SOCIETIES (Coding Club)
The Proximus Society is a distinguished and vibrant student group at HMRITM that aims to develop its members’ feeling of community, leadership, and intellectual development. Students who are enthusiastic about expanding our understanding, investigating new technologies, and developing deep connections both inside and outside of the academic community might find a home in the Society. During the academic year, the Proximus Society hosts a variety of activities, including training sessions and workshops, guest lectures and panel discussions, competitions and challenges for innovation, hackathons, and ideation, among others.
The Geeks for Geeks Society and Club is a thriving group of people that love programming, technology, and solving problems. The club offers a vibrant, inclusive atmosphere where participants may develop, learn, and work together on projects. It also offers a wealth of resources on computer science ideas, coding challenges, competitive programming and job placements.

PRAGMATIC SOCITIES (Eco Club)
The Pragmatic Society (Eco Club), a vibrant student-run group at HMRITM, is dedicated to raising awareness of and taking action on environmental issues. The Eco Club is essential to fostering an ecologically conscious and conscientious campus culture because of its focus on sustainability, conservation, and ecological awareness. There, environmentally conscious students can congregate, exchange ideas, and work together to create a sustainable future. This society empowers students to act on environmental issues, promoting green initiatives and innovative solutions for a cleaner future.

YOGA CLUB
Promotes holistic well-being through yoga sessions, breathing techniques, and meditation, fostering a balanced lifestyle and mental clarity.
DANCE CLUB
The Dance club at HMRITM fascinates passionate dancers to join where they get enough room to refine their skills, experiment with different styles, and perform at college and inter-college events.
SPORTS CLUB
Sports club provides a broad range of indoor and outdoor sports to suit all ability levels. This Club is the place to be if you want to stay in shape, compete at a higher level, or just take pleasure in the friendship that comes with sports. Our goal is to use a variety of sports and leisure pursuits to encourage physical health, cooperation, and overall wellbeing. We work to promote inclusivity, support individual development, and give students chances to stay active, form enduring connections, and improve their college experience. We organizes annual sports meets to encourage students to participate and showcase their talent not only at institute level but at university level as well.
MUSIC CLUB (VOCAL & INSTRUMENTAL)
A space for budding musicians to explore their talent, collaborate with fellow artists, and showcase their skills in live performances, Music club at HMRITM encourages budding talents to participate in various in both intra and inter college events.
SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY CLUB
A community of innovators and thinkers working on research projects, technological advancements, and workshops to explore the latest in science and engineering.
FINE ARTS CLUB
Fine Arts Club is a creative platform for artists to express themselves through painting, sketching, and various art forms, while participating in exhibitions and competitions. It organizes various activities on different occasions where students express their feelings, emotions, thoughts and perception in multiple forms.
SOCIAL MEDIA CLUB
The digital voice of the college, managing online presence, creating engaging content, and keeping the campus community updated on events and initiatives.
DRAMATICS CLUB
Dramatics club gives a stage to storytellers and performers who bring characters to life through theatre, skits, and plays, enhancing their acting and production skills. Various dramatic events like Street play, One Act Play, Mono Acts etc are organized by the club on different occasions.
PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB
A platform for aspiring photographers to refine their skills, explore creative storytelling, and capture the essence of campus life through the lens.
STANDARDS CLUB (Bureau of Indian Standards Club)
BIS Standards Club in Engineering Institutions: Organizing Programs on Writing Standards and Workshops on Specific Standards.
The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) is the national standards organization responsible for formulating and promoting standards across various sectors. For engineering students, understanding and engaging with these standards is crucial, as they play an integral role in industry practices, quality assurance, and innovation. Establishing a BIS Standards Club within engineering institutions provides students with an opportunity to actively participate in the development and promotion of standards. To foster an environment of continuous learning and awareness, it is essential for these clubs to organize at least two major programs in an academic year, focused on two specific themes: Competition on Writing Standards and Workshops/Seminars on Specific Standards, Boost awareness of BIS, Foster creativity and innovation.
C. PROFESSIONAL SOCITIES
COMPUTER SOCIETY of INDIA (CSI)
The Computer Society of HMRITM is a vibrant student-run group that aims to cultivate a strong interest in technology and computer science. Our goal is to unite students who have a passion for programming, computers, and all things tech while giving them the chance to obtain technical and soft skills that will help them in their academic and professional endeavors.
INSTITUTE of ELECTRICAL ELECTRONICS ENGINEERS (IEEE)
A prestigious society that connects students with global innovations in electrical and electronics engineering, offering research and project opportunities. The Student chapter of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) at HMRITM aims to foster the growth of electrical, electronics, and computer engineering knowledge within the academic community.
INDIAN SOCIETY of TECHNICAL EDUCATION (ISTE)
Through a range of academic and professional development opportunities, the HMRITM, ISTE Chapter aims to empower and grow both Faculties and students. Through Workshops and Seminars, industrial visits, Professional Development, Skill Enhancement, Conferences and Technical Events, Faculty Development Programs, Research Initiatives.
D. NSS/NCC
NCC (National Cadet Corps) and NSS (National Service Scheme) are two student programs in colleges aimed at personality development and social service.
NCC focuses on discipline, leadership, and military training. It prepares students for careers in defense and instills qualities like teamwork, responsibility, and patriotism. Cadets participate in drills, camps, and adventure activities.
NSS promotes community service and social responsibility. Volunteers engage in activities like cleanliness drives, blood donation camps, and rural development projects, fostering a sense of social commitment and leadership.
Both programs help students develop essential life skills and contribute to nation-building.
