The Department of CSE (Cyber Security) is established in the year 2022 with an intake of 60 students.The Department is recognized as one of the leading department with infrastructure, facilities and faculties to match very best in education field. Our allied discipline graduates are globally recognized as innovative and well-prepared computing professionals.
The Department focuses to be a Centre of Excellence in the Discipline of Computer Science and to build a strong research and teaching environment that responds swiftly to the challenges of the 21st century.
Cybersecurity plays an important role in today’s information era. The demand for security and privacy of data is a big issue since decades and is growing with each passing hour as effectiveness of a business relies on real time secure processing of data. This course is best suited for students seeking to build world-class expertise in the field of networking areas like Ethical hacking, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, IT data and application security, Network security and data encryption. This will position students to make immediate impact as well as long term success as a cyber-security professional.
The course is designed to give the students current technological exposure to the variety of applications that can be built using techniques covered under this program. They shall be able to apply Cyber Security methods, techniques and tools to the applications. The students shall explore the practical components of developing Cyber secured apps and platforms through the hands on sessions in lab. A sound proficiency in mathematics will prove to be beneficial as this degree requires strong problem-solving skills.
The practical knowledge imparted to students will enable them to build robust systems to address increasingly sophisticated cyber threats amid advancing technologies.
